Independence is important you know ...
Educating self-reliance in children from an early age, it is very important. Independence will support children in learning to understand the behavior choices and risks that must be accounted for by children.The more restrained, the child will be more difficult to control emotions, with the possibility of behavior that will emerge is rebellious behavior or actually, very dependent on others (the term generally is spoiled).
However, what actually does the right step in instilling self-reliance in children? Is the release just like that, set with hard discipline, or direct the positive?
For that, a few things parents need to be done in supporting the establishment of child's independence:
1. Determine the allocation of time provided by parents to their children.
2. If there are other people involved in the care of children should be discussed what will be trained on the child for consistency occurs between parents and caregivers who are appointed by the parent.
3. For independence can be formed more effectively, determine rewards for children, but do not be excessive so that the child is less learning something in the acquisition.
4. Make a mutual agreement between the father and mother of independence that will be trained in children, so that children do not take advantage of the weak state and that benefit children.
5. If the child has not reached a mutually agreed upon target independence, should parents and caregivers do not get enough to keep melatihkan and guiding children to succeed. The key is discipline and consistent in doing so.
6. If the child has begun to grow big, make a list and schedule along with the child, hope is the children will learn to understand what to do and be what he can achieve.
It can be concluded about independence, that independence is not a skill that can be formed quickly and easily, but these skills need to be taught to children repeatedly until the child can understand why he had to do it.
If the child is not guided, informed and taught, then the kids do not know how to help themselves. The ability to help themselves is what is meant by independent. Independence can also be assumed as the ability and desire to do everything yourself. Such as eating, bathing, dressing, urination and defecation own. But need to keep in mind the independence can be achieved in accordance with the stages of child development as it relates to the age of maturity of the child in performing the skill.
